We try to make shelters by bamboo in the Yilan Green Expo.(201402)
And the one that mainly made by me and my father it the Bamboo HAT.
I make bamboo hat as the shape thus user eaily know it a place to rest.
In this case I have learn the property of bamboo, and first time really know that the design have to base on konwing the material's property.
Also we made it first in the school, so how to carry it (longest part is almost 5 memter)is a big issue to it.

這個是在蘭陽技術學院綠生活研究社期間、我還尚未接觸設計課時，宜蘭綠色博覽會委託我們製作竹涼亭的案子。
斗笠造型的涼亭，反映宜蘭以農立縣，希望在人們在巨大的斗笠下乘涼時，能同時感受農民的辛勞及偉大，及庇祐子孫，更代表蘭陽精神。
原先在設計圖中，支撐架是希望用一整隻的竹子做成環狀，支撐在地板上。但是了解竹子特性後，才發覺想將如此粗的竹子彎曲到這種程度實在是太困難了。
接著想用幾個斜撐撐起整座斗笠，但因放置地點及安全考量，最後仍是以最安全的支撐架形式，撐起整做涼亭，避免小朋友推拉支撐而造成涼亭倒塌的意外發生。使用者安全，沒有妥協。
在製作過程中，編織的過程是需要足夠耐心與體力的，交織竹片的摩擦力，使得每次編織都非常艱辛，還比需同時注意編織的順序與正六邊形之調整，若稍有不注意，事後幾乎是無法修正及調整。
因為製作期間包含上學期間，同時要兼顧課業學習，還要全心投入編織，過程是很艱辛。
